Dr. Edna B. Foa
Edna B. Foa, Ph.D., is a Professor of Clinical Psychology in Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania and Director of the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety.  Dr. Foa devoted her academic career to study the psychopathology and treatment of anxiety disorders, primarily obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).  Her research activities included the formulation of theoretical frameworks for understanding the mechanisms underlying these disorders, the development of targeted treatments for these disorders, and elucidating treatment mechanisms that can account for their efficacy.

Dr. Sandra Paivio
Sandra Paivio is currently consultant at the York University Psychology Clinic where she provides individual psychotherapy, graduate training, and supervision. She is Professor Emeritus in the Psychology Department at the University of Windsor, and has 20+ years of clinical experience. She is one of the developers of emotion-focused therapy, particularly applied to complex trauma (EFTT), and has conducted clinical trials evaluating the efficacy and processes of change in EFTT.

Dr. Ken Kwan
Dr. Kwan is a registered psychologist in clinical and counselling psychology with 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couple, and families.  He is also a registered marriage and family therapist, an approved supervisor with the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy (AAMFT), and a registered sex therapist and an approved supervisor with the Board of Examiners in Sex Therapy & Counselling in Ontario (BESTCO).

Dr. Andrew Ekblad
Dr. Andrew Ekblad is a Psychologist and Project Scientist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Duke University. He has over 10 years of clinical and research experience in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

Dr. Shelley McMain
Dr. McMain is a registered psychologist as well as a researcher, clinician and educator whose focus has been in psychotherapy methods and outcomes for borderline personality disorder. Dr. McMain is the Head of the Borderline Personality Disorder Clinic at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.

Dr. Sylvia Kemenoff
Dr. Kemenoff is a seasoned practitioner with extensive experience in family therapy and child clinical psychology.  She has comprehensive training in family therapy and received her structural family therapy at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic. Her expertise in children’s mental health includes diagnostic assessments of youth with complex needs, individual therapy with children and youth with histories of trauma, neglect, or abuse and family therapy.

Dr. Jeanne Watson
An eminent leader in psychotherapy research, Dr. Jeanne Watson divides her time between research, teaching and maintaining a part-time private practice in Toronto. She has given workshops on PE-EFT and empathy training in Europe and the United States.

Dr. Suzanne Stone
Dr. Suzanne Stone is a registered psychologist currently working in full-time private practice. She is heavily involved in the supervision of graduate students in the provision of CBT. Dr. Stone recently completed a 2 year postdoctoral fellowship at Ryerson University where she supervised graduate students in the provision of CBT for severe Generalized Anxiety Disorder on a large-scale research trial comparing the effects of CBT and motivational interviewing.
