Continuing Education Credits & Certificates

Oshawa Psychotherapy Training Institute is the training arm of Psychological & Counselling Services Group, a clinical group with offices in Oshawa, Woodbine, Ajax and Peterborough. We offer the most current training in the field of psychotherapy with a clinician-centred focus, meeting the complex practice needs of mental health practitioners.

Since 2016, Oshawa Psychotherapy Training Institute workshops have been approved by the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) and by the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) to offer continuing education  for psychologists in various individual, couple, and family psychotherapy models, addressing a wide range of topics that clinicians may encounter in their practice.

One credit is awarded for each hour of the continuing education activity; CE hours are noted on each of the workshop outline.  Please note that CPA and CCPA requires full attendance to obtain the CE credits. Once the workshop is completed, participants will receive a OPTI certificate of completion.
